The growth of IM properties‘The development pipeline prompted the appointment of Frank Fitzgerald as project manager.

Recruited by the global construction and real estate consultancy RLB, a long-time advisor to IM Properties, Fitzgerald joins the project management team and swaps his external role for an internal one.

Having worked in many of IM Properties’ many major strategic locations, including Birch Coppice, Blythe Valley, Mercia Park and Peddimore, Fitzgerald’s deep understanding of the company and its projects is perfectly suited to the position.

Jason Jasper, UK Project Manager at IM Properties, said, “We currently have a 15 million square foot development pipeline and are delivering some of the most significant new manufacturing and logistics projects in the region.

Jasper continued, “We have some exciting plans and a number of sustainability goals that we aim to achieve over the next decade, which will greatly improve both the planning and execution of our programs.

“There will certainly be no shortage of challenges for Frank in the months and years to come.”

Fitzgerald, who worked at Arcadis, now AYD, for seven years prior to his 10 years at RLB, added: “It’s a fantastic opportunity and a natural transition for me from consultant to in-house project manager.

Adam Stokes with James Goodyear

Michelin star restaurant in Birmingham Adams has appointed a new head chef with the aim of taking upscale gastronomy “to the next level”.

The restaurant’s new Coventry-born chef, James Goodyear, is classically trained and comes after a stint as a chef at Hide in Piccadilly Circus, London.

He said, “I can’t wait to get started, there is so much potential here to take Adams to the next level.

“The young kitchen team is great, very hungry and enthusiastic. I look forward to teaching them new techniques and working with them to continually improve their already extraordinary skills.

“My culinary style is based on modern European gourmet cuisine, so Adam’s suits me perfectly. Personally, this position is the perfect opportunity to return to my roots in the Midlands and take on an exciting challenge.

“The kitchen has everything a chef could dream of and it is very clear that it was designed by someone who loves to produce quality food.

“I’m also very excited to be working with Adam Stokes; To have someone like him to work with and implement ideas will be great. “

Adam Stokes, Founder, said, “It’s a chef’s job not only to cook, but also to innovate, inspire and teach. James will be a great addition to our talented team and we all look forward to working with him. “
