Reliance Jio’s Errol Marquis strikes on from the corporate, Advertising & Promoting Information, ET BrandEquity

Errol Marquis (Image courtesy: LinkedIn)Reliance Jio’s brand communications and digital marketing head, Errol Marquis has moved on from the company after a six year stint.

Marquis announced this through his LinkedIn post.

Marquis wrote, “After 6 plus years, 50+ awards, 100+ campaigns, 500+ events and 450 million subscribers, I bid adieu to Reliance Jio. I feel very proud to have been a part of Jio success and seeing the company grow into a market leader in the digital and telecom space. A big thank you to my partners and vendors, lots of respect to my colleagues but most of all gratitude to all of you, who have been with me during this incredible journey from the launch till date”

At Jio, among other roles, he was also responsible for brand and communication strategy, e-commerce, digital marketing, internet and mobile marketing, OOH and emerging media.

Marquis comes with over 20 years of experience working with major brands in the telecom, FMCG, banking, and finance industries.

Prior to this Marquis was associated with Vigilante Communication as their business leader of account management for more than three years. He’s also worked for Vodafone India, United Spirits, Ogilvy & Mather, Rediffusion, and Triton Communications in the past.

Prior to this, Godbole was head of creative and capability at Google India, and he also has a history of over a decade with Publicis Groupe where his last role was CEO, Digitas India.
