… and that’s what Dr. John Aggrey, the Ghanaian Social Intrapreneur, proven through hard work, determination, dedication, resilience, the sheer will to get it right and be successful!

Dr. John Aggrey, Founder and CEO of HIRED Consult, the category of the Consultancy and Professional Services Award.

The 40 under Forty is an initiative by Xodus Communications Limited that aims to identify, honor and celebrate a cross section of the most influential and accomplished young entrepreneurs under the age of forty from a variety of industries.

The prestigious award is a recognition of his commitment and dedication to building a niche in the areas of consulting, management, international relations, diplomacy and as a highly respected personality committed to inclusive youth engagement.

Speaking to the media after receiving the award, Dr. John Aggrey to Almighty God for how far he had come in his journey (and attributed it to pure will, passion, commitment, steadfastness, and faith). He also thanked his family, friends, business partners, customers and voters for their commitment to believe in the vision and mission of the HIRED Consult company.

“I’m happy today for one reason and that is that determination, resilience, passion and commitment always pay off. Tonight is a true testimony, and whatever you bring into your mind and energy, they will reap. “

Dr. Aggrey took the opportunity to urge the government and all stakeholders to invest more in the various economic sectors in order to discover more talent in the country, make it attractive and conducive to the youth.

“The truth is that our youth have great potential, originality, and the will to be the best version of themselves, but much can only be done when we, as mentors, advocates, and higher institutions commit ourselves to putting their needs first to put.

His other portfolios include Vice President of HIRED Project USA, Vice President and Director of Engagement for The Global Socio-Economic and Financial Evolution Network (GSFEN) -Africa, serving as both a member of the steering committee and head of the communications team for Children and Youth Major Group to United Nations Program (UNEP) and he is a member, Friends for Leadership.

He is African Young Leadership Fellow 2018, Africa Change Maker Fellow 2018, accredited UN Climate Change Teacher, YALI RLC Alumni (Cohort 11 Online 2020) and Climate Reality Leader 2020 Alumni (an initiative under former US Vice President Al Gore) and currently serves as Mentor.

John’s motivation is passion and drive to be part of a growing community; a change agent for social sustainable development goals for improved livelihoods and service to humanity.

Other previous awards include the MOGi Global Leadership School’s Outstanding Leadership Honor Award 2019, the UN World Environment Day Hero 2019 winner, the Opportunities Hub 100 Most Influential Young People 2020, the 2021 International Youth Forum Eurasia Global Video Competition winner, to just to name some of his successes.

The title “Dr.” aroused our interest and it was bursting with pride and confirmed with a smile: “Oh, a few weeks ago I was again awarded a Doctor of Excellence (honoris causa) for my services in the humanitarian field.”

We asked again what defines him: “In simple terms, I am a Social Intrapreneur, Youth Advocate and Global Connector. I love to cook, ”he replied with a wider smile. Since the media was everywhere to get an interview, we had to end the interview briefly.

Indeed, such a single personality who possesses all of these skills and experience undoubtedly deserves the credit.
