JSE-listed Altron has been selling his Altron People Solutions businessthat was for sale last year.

Altron Business process outsourcing (BPO) and customer experience technology from People Solutions (CXTech) business was taken over by iSON experiences, a global company headquartered in Dubai looking to expand its presence in Africa.

It was decided to split the business and sell it to two buyers, both of whom are ideally positioned to offer exciting new growth opportunities in an environment where they can thrive.

Nyati said that while the business is no longer aligned with the Altron 2.0 strategy, it has a great track record in the industry.

“By selling to the right partners, we have given these companies growth and expansion opportunities. Learning Solutions can now focus on bringing innovative digital training services to market, while BPO is now part of a global organization that offers a broader view of the customer experience, ”he said.

Africa’s largest security service provider was created after Competition court approved the acquisition of Digital Signature Services Company Lawtrust Listed by JSE Altron.

The ZAR 245 million deal integrates Lawtrust with Altron, which in 2019 also acquired identity management leader Ubusha Technologies to form Altron Security.

Managing Director of the Altron Group, Mteto Nyati said the acquisition of Lawtrust to position Altron Security as a one-stop shop for digital and information security.

Lawtrust is a company for digital trust services and cyber information security solutions that offers solutions for verifying the authenticity of digital identities and counterparty systems in transactions, data encryption, digital signatures and biometrics.

Lawtrust looks after over 500 customers in the private and public sector and is an internationally certified certification authority for the provision of publicly trustworthy digital certificates and digital signatures.

Altron Security is also building a local presence in the UK where its offerings are in demand.
