ROI acquires effective marketing with continuous growth

Manchester-based lead generation technology company ROI Media UK has acquired a Norwegian digital marketing company.

ROI’s acquisition of Effective Marketing marks the latest development in the company’s ambition to become the leading lead generation company in Scandinavia and the UK.

The ROI is backed by growth capital investor BGF, who previously invested £ 7 million to support the company’s expansion in key locations across the UK and Europe.

This is the third acquisition since BGF first invested in ROI in June 2020. This transaction increases annual sales by £ 1.5 million and EBITDA of £ 410,000 for ROI.

The lead generation business saw strong growth in its core services as well as rapid expansion of the previously acquired companies, namely Raketech and Firstborn Capital.

This is another strategic acquisition that extends ROI’s reach into the financial services sector and further solidifies its geographic presence in Norway.
