Frontline Managed Services buys legal IT consultancy Logicforce

Frontline Managed Services, an Atlanta-based provider of outsourcing solutions to the legal industry, has acquired Logicforce, a Nashville-based legal IT consultancy.

Founded in 1995, Logicforce helps law firms improve their internal operations through technology, with offerings in IT optimization, e-discovery, document review, cybersecurity and digital forensics. The company’s technology partners include iManage, Cellebrite and Nuix.

Logicforce also offers its proprietary Synthesis E-IT Secure service, which evaluates law firm technology and business goals to help clients create actionable blueprints for improved profitability.

Frontline’s acquisition of Logicforce will add 50 employees to its IT managed services team and increase the company’s total workforce to more than 750 employees. The move also adds more than 100 new law firms to Frontline’s list, which includes over 40% of AmLaw 200 and hundreds of medium-sized law firms.

“As we continue to keep our promise to be one step ahead in the legal market for our more than 800 clients, we are pleased to expand our presence again with the integration of another future-oriented market leader in legal tech such as LOGICFORCE,” said Seelin Naidoo, CEO by Frontline Managed Services.

Frontline deployed Glasser Tech, a full-service IT provider, and InvoicePrep, an e-invoice provider for law firms, in July 2021.

“We are pleased to bring our know-how and our innovative services to the Frontline Managed Services platform and to further expand our service for our existing customers with the new resources available to them,” said Gulam Zade, CEO of Logicforce.

Zade and Bret Babcock, CFO & COO of Logicforce, will join Frontline’s management team. Logicforce’s advisor on the transaction was investment bank Jegi poeticbusiness.

Frontline was founded in 1998 and is one of the world’s largest providers of managed services for the legal industry with offerings in the areas of administration, finance and IT managed services. The company has seven offices in the United States and international offices in Toronto, London, and Hyderabad and Pune, India.
