Work underway on York enterprise park

Working in York Business Park

In York, work is being carried out on a new development of industrial and storage units.

The MX Park in Monks Cross will consist of 11 units ranging in size from 1,925 sq ft to 3,550 sq ft. It is being developed by Tonsley Investments of Guildford.

After completion of the park in the spring of next year, up to 40 jobs are to be created.

Richard Flanagan of York real estate consultancy Flanagan James, who advises Tonsley Investments, said: “York is experiencing a shortage of well-located, high-quality industrial / storage units such as those provided in the new MX Park.

“Experience has shown us that such units are attractive to a large number of companies because of their flexibility and the possibility of installing mezzanine floors. In fact, we have already received a number of inquiries and I am confident that we will have agreed terms with a number of Tenants before completion in the spring of next year. “

Dan Hodge of Joint Agent Ryden added, “These units will be both highly specialized and flexible, with integrated offices, kitchenettes, dedicated parking spaces and ready for EV charging. Thanks to the combination of the quality of the park and its location, we expect serious and continued interest. “

The main contractor is Stainforth Construction of Baildon, West Yorkshire.
