Construction management consultancy Poole Dick has announced the launch of a new line of business.

Poole Dick Plus is a new division of the Staffordshire-based group offering clients a range of new services that support both corporate and project compliance.

Alan Nixon becomes director of Poole Dick Plus.

As a former CEO at Novus Property Solutions, he brings with him extensive experience in various specialist areas.

The project-related services of the new division include on-site monitoring of quality and specification compliance, main design duties, on-site safety inspections, as well as pre-contract risk reduction and service connection management, be it for individual projects or cross-location programs.

It will also provide broader support to help organizations assess their corporate risk and compliance arrangements, facilitate strategic planning cycles, and help develop a positive health and safety culture within organizations.

Martin Brownsill, Managing Director at Poole Dick, said, “As the business continues to grow and develop, Poole Dick Plus will allow us to expand our service offering to meet the changing needs of our customers.”

Nixon added, “I am very excited to be joining Poole Dick in founding this new company. I’ve been in construction and property maintenance for over 30 years and I understand the importance of planning effectively and managing risk in order to get the results you want. Poole Dick has been very successful in serving clients in the industry for many years and being able to offer these broader services is a great opportunity to build on their excellent reputation in the marketplace.

“All companies are faced with changing risk profiles and derailments, so it is important that there is time to regularly review systems, processes, human resources and internal controls. Together they enable effective governance; Ensure regulatory compliance and protect the financial integrity and reputation of the organization. “
