BIBAs finalists revealed as Lancashire enterprise chief requires Authorities to supply certainty all through winter

Jamie Grimshaw, investment executive at NPIF-FW Capital Debt Finance, said there must be plans in place to ensure that any new variant of COVID-19 is addressed quickly to avoid the need for further restrictions.

He reiterated the calls made by the UK Chambers of Commerce for plans that would allow businesses to focus on key long-term goals.

FW Capital sponsors the Medium Business of the Year category at this year’s Be Inspired Business Awards, The BIBAs, which will hold its annual ceremony on Friday 17th September.

Companies in each of the 19 award categories will be in the spotlight in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom at the BIBAs awards ceremony

The full list of contenders for the 19 categories of longstanding awards is provided below.

Grimshaw said, “Like all of us, companies have been through so much in the past 18 months that now they can really focus on the long term.

“The winter months will undoubtedly present challenges and so the government must have contingency plans for additional assistance should it be needed.

“With certainty, companies can focus on the things that will continue the economic recovery, create new skills, new jobs and a return to growth.”

The BIBAs will hold their ceremony in the Tower Ballroom next month, expecting a sold out audience.

The organizers of the awards, the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, have confirmed that all guests must present a negative COVID-19 test result upon arrival at the venue.

A spokesman said: “For those who arrive without a result, a small test station will be available during the night, but this will result in a delay of at least 30 minutes.

“This move should reassure all of our guests that the BIBAs ceremony will be a controlled environment where everyone’s safety is of the utmost importance.”
