LCF-linked jumper leaps into Olympics | Enterprise

Some of the people in and around the London Capital & Finance (LCF) scandal – the collapse of one of Britain’s largest mini-bond firms – were linked by several pastimes. Helicopters and fast cars, just to name two.

But the most common topic was the love of show jumping. Spencer Golding, one of those arrested and still being investigated by the Serious Fraud Office, even has his own stable.

The Smith & Williamson administrators claim that an equestrian company he allegedly sponsored as a “patron” received more than £ 12 million from LCF. He denies S & W’s legal claims and denies any wrongdoing.
