Thomas Miller Specialty creates new building enterprise
Global specialty insurance provider Thomas Miller Specialty has launched a new construction business.
The new Thomas Miller Specialty Construction (TMSC) unit builds on Thomas Miller’s many years of expertise in the insurance of latent defects and works exclusively according to a broker sales model. TMSC will provide a “leading latent defect offering” for mixed use and tenure developments in the UK, according to a company release.
Although the new unit will handle everything related to construction, Thomas Miller stated that technical services to assist underwriters with risk management and advisory services will continue to be provided through an in-house risk solutions company.

TMSC was founded to focus on mixed use and tenure developments and will draw on a wealth of experience and strong broker and customer relationships built over more than two decades, ”said Danielle Champion, CEO of Thomas Miller Specialty.
