International design consultancy Charcoalblue has created a new business unit that aims to deliver a great guest experience to companies in the workplace, technology, exhibition and event sectors.

Founded in 2004, Charcoalblue now has six studios in the UK, US and Australia and has built its global leadership reputation through projects including the National Theater, the Royal Opera House, Steppenwolf, the Chicago Shakespeare Theater and the Sydney Theater Company.

It has now launched Charcoalblue Experience, which will apply its expertise from working with world-renowned cultural organizations to the workplace, technology, exhibition and events markets.

Ian Stickland, Managing Director of Charcoalblue Experience said, “While Charcoalblue Experience may be a new name in the markets we are entering, we have been offering this service worldwide for some time.

“We use our knowledge of audiovisual systems and our passion for combining the physical with the digital, with our ability to execute projects to ensure that the overall guest experience is enhanced within the building design.”

The new company’s projects include hybrid workplaces, one-off event spaces, sports facilities, broadcast studios, conference centers, and ecosystems across entire buildings and campuses.

Ian Stickland added, “We have developed our own successful creative delivery model that we use to translate the client’s order.

“The model is based on our highly qualified team of experience consultants who work with architects, designers, engineers, construction project managers and other stakeholders involved in the building.”

Andy Hayles, Charcoalblue Managing Partner, said, “This is an amazing next step for Charcoalblue Group. Charcoalblue Experience will lead us into new markets and create opportunities to work with new and existing clients by providing the design and creative implementation solutions that we are happy to bring to all of our projects, and center stage is the theater innovation that has always driven us . “
