Employee engagement consultancy recruits eight new staff

Scarlettabbott new hires

Employee engagement specialist Scarlettabbott has welcomed eight new team members after a period of strong customer growth as more UK companies invest in future of work initiatives to promote employee wellbeing.

The York-based consultancy specializes in employee engagement. All of the work is based on the disciplines of behavioral research, digital transformation, diversity and inclusion, and creative storytelling.

After the change the pandemic brought to business in the UK, many leaders are now long-term focus on employee wellbeing, internal communications and hybrid work models. Seven in ten believe that employee engagement is critical to business success.

Jeremy Petty, executive director of scarlettabbott, believes its growth has come from helping companies understand and act on what feels like after 10 years of change in the past 12 months, he says;

“Companies had a lot to deal with in the past year. While a year ago it was about making important decisions in the short term, companies we work with are now looking at the medium to long term. Much of the conversations we have and new work we deliver relate to initiatives about the future of work. “

Scarlettabbott’s growth follows a busy start to the year in which the consultancy gained five new clients in the food and beverage, finance and entertainment sectors, which contributed to significant customer growth among its existing clients.

New hires have been added to Scarlettabbott across the company. Monika Beniusiene has joined the team as Head of Business Development. Previously managing director at the internal communications agency Headlines.

Laura Hutchinson, HR Manager, joins the Charity Family Fund from her previous position, while Motion Graphics Designer Teri Edge gives the animation team her animation flair.
The advisory team was further strengthened with the appointment of senior consultant Justin Bateman and consultants Jess Gomm and Hester Lonergan, former communications partners at Co-op. The new faces are completed by the new project managers Lucy Stead and Goda Pilibaityte.
