Autolemy – Music Advertising and marketing Supervisor (UK)

Autolemy.com is looking for a seasoned music marketing manager to join the owner as a leader in developing and supporting initiatives with press, radio, marketing, promotion and publishing strategies.

The ideal candidate for this role will initially work 1-5 days a month to develop and implement creative and innovative marketing strategies and campaigns for an upcoming album release. This requires working with the owner from the ground up, with your experience being the key to success. The project is currently in its early stages, with demos being made for the album and an accompanying book manuscript written. The candidate must have a deep understanding of radio, physical product release, streaming, digital, creative and content strategy, data and analytics, and a keen sense of musical priorities in the particular market. You also need to have relationships within the industry where securing support and participation in campaigns is a must. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for marketing, the music industry, and taking a project to completion.

It would be an added benefit if you are also experienced in publishing (music or books).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, implement and oversee all record release marketing plans and strategies tailored to the owner’s specific needs from start to finish.
  • Finding, building and maintaining close relationships with representatives from the areas of product development, press, radio and DSP.
  • Conception, setup, curation and monitoring of all social media posts and activations on Autolemy / AuRecordings Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
  • Assistance in the management and organization of showcases, promotions, events and product presentations in the market.
CONDITIONS
  • 3-5 years of experience in the music industry.
  • Knowledge of English is essential.
  • Strong understanding of how the music industry works with solid relationships in place between digital, radio, press, social media, physical products and other platforms.
  • Creative, innovative, strategic outlook on marketing tactics and channels with the ability to generate new marketing ideas.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing and social networks including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LINE, TikTok and all relevant and various local and / or emerging social media channels.
  • Understanding and interest in live streaming and other digital performance trends and opportunities.
  • Ability to take leadership and leadership while working autonomously.
