Fisher’s German real estate consultancy and real estate agent has promoted James Wadland, who is part of the company’s infrastructure services team, to assistant director.

James joined the company in 2013 after graduating from Harper Adams University with a degree in rural business and land management. Since then he has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.

The infrastructure services team in Banbury works with customers in the south, south east and south west of England. In his current position, James works primarily in the electricity sector for his two main customers, UK Power Networks (UKPN) and National Grid.

Fisher German has run a total of 21 promotions across its offices, including three partner promotions. This is a sign of the company’s continued success in a number of areas of expertise.

James said, “I am very proud to receive this promotion and I am very grateful to be working for a thriving company.

“It’s great to see so many colleagues being promoted across the company and it’s extremely positive to work for a company that has helped its people advance their careers despite a challenging 12 months.”

The announcement comes as the company officially merges with Birmingham-based Vine Property Management, which manages 51 million square feet of retail, industrial and office properties, following a deal in 2020.

Fisher German Senior Partner Tim Shuldham said it was fantastic to be able to run such a large number of promotions after an unprecedented year in the industry.

He said, “I would like to congratulate everyone who has been promoted and thank everyone across the company for helping us make progress in an incredibly challenging time for the sector.

“It is a tribute to the quality and hard work of all of our colleagues, the strength of our customer base, and the solid foundations of our business that we can make this announcement.

“We not only carried out 21 promotions in various disciplines, but also accepted 28 graduates with more positions to be filled into the company.

“Over the past year, Fisher German has provided customers with a seamless, high-quality service that we will continue to offer as we grow and strengthen our business.”
