Infostretch, a Goldman Sachs-backed digital engineering company, is expanding its presence in the UK after acquiring a global technology consultancy with a competence center in Sunderland.

Saggezza was founded in 2005 and today employs over 500 people in six offices in the UK, USA and India.

The deal marks Infostretch’s first acquisition since securing private equity investments from Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking and Everstone Group in August 2020.

Rutesh Shah, CEO of Infostretch, said, “Saggezza’s deep understanding of software design and implementation is a perfect complement to our digital engineering and data analysis skills.

“With the addition of their CRM capabilities, we see an opportunity to quickly grow our presence in our existing customer base and leverage those expanded capabilities to attract new business. This combination is a positive development for the customers of both companies, including several Fortune companies have 500 customers. “

Saggezza will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Infostretch with executives joining the Infostretch leadership team.
