Circle Scotland CIC (The Circle) has been named one of the UK’s Top 100 Social Enterprises for the third year running. The organization was featured on the NatWest SE100 Index, a list celebrating the growth, impact and resilience of social enterprises in the UK. The SE100 was developed over 10 years ago by Pioneers Post in collaboration with NatWest.

The Circle was named alongside organizations like Madlug, Wild and Kind CIC, and Homes for Good. This announcement comes after a year of immense growth and development for The Circle. In 2020, the organization introduced a 4-day work week to improve employee well-being and promote work-life balance. They also switched to offering their social entrepreneurship training program, The Circle Academy, exclusively online. They helped secure over £ 250,000 in funding for their tenants, advisory clients and others during the pandemic. In June it was announced that The Circle is expanding into a second hub, this time in Easterhouse, Glasgow, and they have expanded their staff.

Kirsty Thomson, Founder and CEO of The Circle, says:

“We are very pleased to be included in the index for the third time in a row. It means so much to be recognized for our hard work over the past 12 months and to be listed alongside such a high profile organization. “
