Kinetic Consultancy launches survey investigating the future of commercial real estate contracts

Kinetic Consultancy launched a survey to get an industry expert on the future of commercial (retail) contracts.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the way people shop, with online retail and e-commerce growing sharply as stores and malls struggle on the shopping streets. For this reason, commercial leadership is considering how these behavioral changes will affect the future of commercial (retail) contracts (or perhaps vice versa) in high-traffic locations such as airports, rail and public transit, and urban centers.

“Airports, shopping centers, mix-use properties, trains and other so-called high-traffic locations have very similar business dynamics. We have found that a broader insight generation approach is beneficial for those in our industry, ”said Martijn Steur, Managing Director of Kinetic Consultancy. “In our recent conversations with several senior airport industry leaders, we have learned that there has been increased uncertainty about the future of commercial retail contracts and that there is a need to understand what and how they may change.”

Juriaan van Waalwijk, business analyst and customer journey specialist at Kinetic Consultancy, said: “Executives in our industry need to manage day-to-day business and future-proof strategies. We believe that as a community we can have a better understanding together than apart. “

The survey is designed to be completed in a minute. Kinetic will provide the results of the survey free of charge.
