Lincolnshire based architects and town planners, PolkeyCollins, has added two new members to its architecture team.

Jason Hall and Connor Horgan have joined the office as senior architect and architectural technologist, respectively.

Hall joins the senior team and brings over 23 years of experience, including six years in Asia. In his new role, he will work with directors Daniel Collins and Clive Polkey and the studio team.

Horgan will support the architecture team. He is joining this year after graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in architecture.

PolkeyCollins director Daniel Collins said, “Two years ago, my co-director, Clive, and I created a five-year strategic growth plan. The practice has done well and we wanted to take advantage of this while we were ambitious with our growth plans for the next few years. We have ambitious plans for the practice and pride ourselves on staying ahead of the goals that will enable us to recruit talented people like Jason and Connor. “

Planning advice Maroon planning announced two new appointments and four internal promotions.

Karen Brightman is moving from Charnwood Borough Council to the consultancy’s Leicester office, where she will serve as Associate Director and bring extensive experience working on strategic projects. George Smith joins the Stratford office as a senior planner after serving six years on the Cherwell County Council.

Jenny Keen and David Pendle, who are based in the Nottingham office, have been promoted from Assistant Director to Chief Planning Officer.

Keen is a registered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) with over 12 years experience in a number of sectors including residential, commercial and retail planning, working for a number of developers and national home builders in site promotion through the development plan, coordination of important building applications and management of building applications.

Pendle has a wealth of local government experience, working with landowners, developers and consultancies, specializing in land development and strategic development.

Meanwhile, Chief Planners Daniel Robinson-Wells and Sachin Parmar have been promoted to Associate Directors in the Stratford and Leicester offices, respectively.
