David Tannock

With over 18 years of experience in the bankruptcy sector, David comes from an accounting and management consultancy firm in Glasgow, where he spent nearly four years as a bankruptcy administrator, having previously worked for another accounting firm in the city for nine years.

David has a broad range of bankruptcy and debt resolution experience, including assisting individuals and businesses with matters such as trust deeds, seizures, and debt settlement systems.

Based in Glasgow, David will work with the team to provide personal bankruptcy expertise to clients across Scotland from Begbies Traynor’s offices in Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen.

Lisa Travers

The auditing company Chiene + Tait has appointed a new partner to its expanding personnel tax team. Lisa Travers comes from RSM’s Glasgow office, where she worked in the private client practice. Prior to that, she spent the first nine years of her career at KPMG before moving to Deloitte as an Associate Director.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience to her new role as an experienced consultant in income and capital tax planning for wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs and executives of private equity funds. Together with Michelle Fallon, Head of Private Client Tax at C + T, Lisa will focus on further expanding the firm’s private client business across Scotland.

The Leith creative agency has appointed Vic Milne as its new head of planning, replacing David Amers after 26 years.

Vic has been with the Edinburgh-based agency since 2012 and has played a pivotal role for a number of key clients including IRN-BRU, The Famous Grouse and Baxters. This board-level appointment begins in August and provides for Vic to lead a multidisciplinary planning team of 16 people.
