Acquisition deal expands property consultancy service

Eddisons, the real estate services advisory division of Begbies Traynor Group plc, expands its Sheffield operations with the acquisition of the Fernie Greaves Chartered Surveyors team.

The transaction will expand Eddisons’ presence in South Yorkshire, where the company provides real estate advisory services through its existing team led by Adrian Lunn.

Fernie Greaves ‘new team, led by Paul Oddy and George Thompson, will join Eddisons’ Sheffield team and add 13 employees.

The group will pay a total of £ 0.25 million, payable out of its existing funds. Fernie Greaves’ team has typically had annual fee income of around £ 0.5 million per year.
