Cadbury introduces a new treat to Iceland stores! An Easter exclusive extra-large Cadbury Creme Egg dessert!

The infamous Creme Egg was introduced to the British public in 1963 and is still today, a beloved treat that brings Easter cheer to the hearts (and stomachs) of it’s fans.

This Creme Egg inspired dessert is now on shelves and selling for a sweet £6. At an eggcellent 400g in weight, this dessert is a staggering 10 times the size of the regular egg.

The dessert consists of a giant chocolate shell, filled with a creamy white chocolate mousse and as you would expect, the classic yellow fondant sits proudly in the center.

The new sweet treat has hit the shops well before Easter, giving those with a sweet tooth ample time to stock up ahead of the holiday.

Iceland, along with its sister store Food Warehouse, began selling the pudding on the weekend of March 4 and trading director Andrew Staniland expressed: “This is the perfect sharing dessert that is guaranteed to wow, as families get back round the table together to celebrate easter.”

He added that “Cadbury is an iconic brand and we know that our customers will absolutely love this exclusive range.”

The decadent treat has been designed to appear as a supersized version of the famous seasonal treat. And although released in time for this Easter holiday, it is the perfect pudding for any occasion

The product is available at Iceland for both home delivery and in store purchase. It is also available at the brand’s sister company Food Warehouse.
