Members of the Shropshire Growth Club, founded 18 months ago by management consultancy Good2Great, met at The Atrium on Bridgnorth High Street.

The club was formed last April to help the county businesses look past the lockdown.

The initiative has proven itself: Since then, around 60 members have been meeting online every week to take part in virtual peer group meetings, seminars, networking and master classes.

Good2Great Director Johnny Themans stated that the Growth Club was designed for county companies that had to reassess their entire operations in the face of the pandemic.

“We were very pleased with the development of the club over the past 18 months and are pleased to be able to“ get together again in person.

“This was our second meeting and it was well attended by companies from across the county.

“We discussed a number of topics, such as identifying expansion opportunities and future planning, and were able to network and exchange ideas,” he said.

Members are supported by a virtual coaching app called Business Monitor, developed by Good2Great with a grant from the Shropshire Council, which enables start-up businesses to access a range of free benefits.
