P&A Grant Thornton inks cope with Famcor to serve household companies
Due to the current pandemic restrictions, the agreement will be remotely signed by Leonardo Cuaresma Jr., Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of P&A Grant Thornton, and Virgilio Espeleta, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Famcor. Wendell Ganhinhin, partner in charge of P&A Grant Thornton for the Cebu office, will witness the said event.
At its core, business can be understood simply as a series of friendly relationships. As of September 16, 2021, P&A Grant Thornton, one of the country’s leading accounting and consulting firms, is a partnership with Famcor Franchise Management and Executive Development Corp. (Famcor), a management consultancy specializing in advising family businesses.
The cooperation partnership requires an equal exchange of knowledge, resources and opportunities with their respective companies in a related industry. As part of the agreement, P&A Grant Thornton and Famcor have agreed to share their network through referral services. The former will provide family businesses with Famcor customers’ auditing, tax and other related professional services, while the latter will provide advisory and governance services.
