One digital and IT consulting firm says it has seen rapid growth from the pandemic as companies and organizations accelerated plans for digital transformation.

Leeds-based Answer has seen sales jump 40% and announced plans to add over 100 new jobs over the next two years.

The company is partnering with the London Medical Imaging and AI Center for Value-Based Healthcare to pave the way for AI-enabled hospitals and the future of patient care.

The project will build and deploy new artificial intelligence (AI) platforms to help clinicians with faster diagnoses and treatments, personalized therapies, and effective screenings for a range of diseases and procedures.

Answer says it supports the development and delivery of the NHS Integrating Care Program and works with NHS Digital.

The NHS Integrating Care Program connects IT systems in health and social care. It is designed to enable improved care decisions by providing authorized health and social care workers with instant and secure access to accurate health and care information.

Answer is also a leader in digital transformation in the financial services sector. It supports RPMI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Railways Pension Trustee Company Limited (RPTCL), which offers new digital services to over 500,000 customers.

Gary Parlett, Founder and General Manager of Answer, said, “Since we moved to employee ownership, Answer has come a long way.

“We have put our people at the center of everything we do, and that means we have great people who are passionate about what they do. It is driving rapid growth in the healthcare, financial services and other commercial sectors.

“We continue to invest in training our team and building a culture that will attract the best talent in the country. The additional 100 jobs we are creating are just the beginning of our plans for the business. “

The company is currently expanding its academy, which has been accelerating young people into digital skills in software development, integration, test automation and project management over the past six years.

Over half of Answer Digital’s employees are alumni of the Academy, which was founded to develop young talent for the company.
