Devoteam has welcomed a new leader for its Microsoft Middle East business unit: Ashraf ElSheikh.

Ashraf ElSheikh brings around two decades of IT consulting experience to the company, which he gained at Microsoft and both sides of the customer spectrum; at technology service providers and corporations.

Most recently at Dell, based in Egypt, ElSheikh advised clients on multi-cloud strategies and implementation programs for the entire stack of Microsoft, VMware and Dell / EMC solutions. Before that, he worked for Microsoft for nine years and worked across roles in the areas of consulting, implementation, technology, architecture and the cloud.

At the beginning of his career, ElSheikh ITWorx worked as a technical consultant and Vodafone as a technical engineer. “Ashraf brings over 20 years of advanced technology and consulting experience. He is an innovative technology strategist with extensive experience in cloud and infrastructure technologies, ”said Devoteam of his latest senior recruiting.

In the Middle East, Devoteam employs over 450 consultants and technologists who specialize in helping clients from the public and private sectors implement their digital transformation agenda. The company (with 8,000 employees worldwide) works on several technology platforms, with Microsoft being one of its main specialties.

Devoteam is a multiple winner of the Microsoft Partner of the Year Award worldwide for its consulting, solution and managed services offerings.

“We are very happy to have Ashraf in our Devoteam family. He will play a key role in strengthening our Microsoft partnership in the Middle East. ”

Last week Devoteam strengthened its Microsoft portfolio with the acquisition of CLOUDEON, a Scandinavian company specializing in managed services for Microsoft Azure.
