As part of a new partnership with Yoke Consultancy, British Rowing employees will receive wellbeing training and support for the remainder of this year.

The collaboration between Yoke – which aims to build resilient cultures for teams and organizations – and a key group of British Rowing employees will focus on measurement by the Human Sustainability Index.

It includes individual reflection and group discussion that are claimed to enable employees to better cope with change and to be successful in their work environment.

“We’ve probably been thinking about wellbeing for three to four years, and one of the areas we’ve worked hard on is transforming our corporate culture,” said Andy Parkinson, CEO of British Rowing.

“Yoke has provided invaluable insights since our partnership began, and we look forward to building a strong culture of wellbeing across the company over the long term.”

Rachel Fellowes, Founder of Yoke, said, “It is an absolute pleasure to work with British Rowing to discover what a culture of high performance and wellbeing means in practice.

“We look forward to pushing the boundaries of experimentation even further in the future.”

Throughout the relationship, Yoke and British Rowing will collaborate on a number of blog posts by British Rowing staff, while Parkinson will also participate in a moderated learning circle with Fellowes on August 10th.
