Ukraininan Business Council and UAQ Free Trade Zone Sign Letter of Intent at One UAQ, UAQ FTZ’s New Headquarters for Enhanced Business Impact.

UMM AL QUWAIN, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, July 8, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – Delegates from the Ukrainian Economic Council visited UAQ FTZ’s new headquarters, “One UAQ”, during which both parties – UBC and UAQ FTZ – signed an agreement Letter of Intent to use their respective strengths for the benefit of the Ukrainian business community in the United Arab Emirates. This was the second year of successful cooperation between UAQ FTZ and UBC.

Ukraine’s strong entrepreneurial culture has led many Ukrainian companies to set up their offices in the United Arab Emirates, one of the largest economic centers in the world. The Ukrainian business community in the United Arab Emirates is mainly active in the areas of shipping, agricultural trade, IT and management consulting. The UAQ Free Trade Zone has a broad portfolio of business licenses and facilities suitable for all of these sectors.

UBC and UAQ FTZ have worked together to achieve common goals including:
• Attracting more Ukraine individuals and companies to do business in the United Arab Emirates.
• Promotion of UAQ FTZ among UBC members and UBC audiences in their marketing channels as well as among other potential customers from Ukraine.
• Working with the Free Zone to organize joint webinars, trade missions, road shows, seminars and other events and initiatives to attract more companies to the UAQ Free Zone.

The MoU enables UBC members to enjoy special advantages when setting up companies in the UAQ free zone. The MoU also states that UBC will inform the Free Zone of any Ukrainian business delegates and business delegation programs that can be placed in the UAE during the term of the MoU.
