Unilever lays the groundwork for a focused approach to collaborating with college athletes with the first Degree Deodorant campaign

As a company committed to building a fairer and more inclusive society, Unilever wants to set a thoughtful and positive precedent for working with college athletes as the ability to monetize the name, image and likeness of college athletes (NIL) goes into effect on July 1, 2021.

One of the most important pillars of Unilever’s sustainable business strategy is to contribute to a fairer, more socially inclusive world. Unilever’s approach to working with college athletes will underline this strategy to highlight targeted initiatives, deepen the stories and experiences of athletes, and provide overall equal pay for both male and female athletes.
