Patrick Parsons, provider of multidisciplinary engineering consulting services for commercial, industrial and residential construction companies, has been acquired by the private investment company Rcapital and brings additional financial clout and support for the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Patrick Parsons is focused on helping clients assess, develop and tackle the most complex technical challenges across a range of sectors. From four locations – headquarters in Birmingham, London, Wakefield and Ashvale – the company provides a range of related engineering services, including civil engineering, construction and geo-environment engineering services and has built a solid reputation in the industry.

The company also announces new investments in talent and is hiring at least ten new engineers to serve the growing workload of both existing and new customers. The plan is to take on five more engineering trainees who will be added to the trainees already working in the company. In addition, the company invests in a comprehensive training and development program to attract the best talent and managers of tomorrow.

Gail Bamforth, CEO of Patrick Parsons, said: “With Rcapital we have a new partner and investor who puts us in a strong financial position and gives our ambitious growth strategy and plans for the future a significant boost.

“I am very pleased that the growth strategy is already paying off, as business is developing well and the level of secure work has already returned to pre-pandemic levels. We have also won some fantastic new mandates and have more opportunities in the pipeline. “
