Richmondshire companies invited to funding occasion

Richmondshire businesses invited to funding event

Richmondshire businesses will be invited to a virtual event to learn more about funding opportunities.

After a difficult year for local companies, the team of the PAPI (product and process innovation) project teamed up with the district council to give companies an overview of the wide range of subsidies and business subsidies.

Hosted on July 15 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Zoom, the event will feature presentations from a range of funding programs, with case studies of local companies that have received funding, and the opportunity to network with other companies.

It will also provide companies with a single point of contact so that they can access tailored support.

The event is open to all Richmondshire-based SMEs (small to medium-sized enterprises) that employ fewer than 250 people and are mostly business-to-business.

Councilor Angie Dale, District Council Chairwoman, said, “This event will give businesses an opportunity to network and discover the support they could get.

“When you have all the information in one place, you can find the program that best suits your company.”
