Accenture acquires French EPM tech consultancy Nell’Armonia

Accenture acquires the French EPM tech consultancy Nell'Armonia

Accenture has strengthened its Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) services in France and other markets with the acquisition of Nell ‘Armonia, a specialist digital consultancy based in Levallois-Perret.

Nell ‘Armonia was founded in 2007 and has since grown into a team of over 130 consultants in offices in France, Israel, Morocco and Poland. With a focus on finance and supply chain functions, the company’s expertise includes a range of optimization tools such as Oracle EPM, Anaplan, CCH Tagetik and OneStream – rounded off by other project management and delivery services.

That team will now join Accenture in an agreement of unknown value that will enable the global professional services giant “to provide the latest, most comprehensive solutions to support companies in their EPM transformations,” said Olivier Girard, Head of Accenture France and Benelux.

And there are many EPM transformations underway: As companies adapt to the pandemic-induced changes in society and the economy, a certain degree of rationalization will be crucial. “Robust EPM capabilities that bring data, technology and talent together are critical to creating a more dynamic, agile and actionable performance management process,” said Girard.

Nell ‘Armonia’s specialized EPM capabilities will complement Accenture’s size and digital resources to assist clients in this process. The combined offering also extends Nell ‘Armonia’s reach beyond the supply chain and finance, opening up a variety of innovative capabilities using advanced technologies such as AI, predictive analytics, robotics and others.

“The opportunity to join Accenture would open tremendous opportunities for our company and our employees,” said Eric Leroy, CEO and Founder of Nell Armonia. “Together we could support a larger number of companies in successful management transformation projects and integrate all of the company’s key functions.”

Stephanie Jandard, Managing Director and Technology Leader at Accenture in France, explained how the new offering will find a lot of buyers in France – not only for measures to respond to pandemics such as agility and resilience, but also for the sustainability agenda that is affecting the business environment in France and worldwide.

She notes that a focus on EPM removes the need for a “real-time holistic view of a company’s critical functions such as finance, human resources and supply chain management, more reliable insights into its environmental, social and governance performance and the potential value of integration” reflects sustainability in the decision-making of companies. “

Following the pending regulatory approval, this is Accenture’s second French acquisition within a few weeks and the fifth in Europe since March. The company acquired the Paris-based cloud specialist Linkbynet in early May and two weeks later added the German sales and pricing consultancy Homburg & Partners to its roster. This followed the takeovers of the German talent specialist fable + in March and the Swedish software development company Cygni.
