Accenture Acquires Industrie&Co to Assist Australian Purchasers Maximise Cloud First Investments and Rework into Digital Companies

SYDNEY – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Accenture: (NYSE: ACN) has acquired Industrie & Co, a technology consultancy that designs and builds cloud-native solutions for businesses and fast-born businesses. The acquisition expands Accenture’s Cloud First capabilities in delivering cloud-native services to customers, particularly in the financial services space as they increasingly transform into digital businesses and develop new digital products and services. The terms of the transaction will not be disclosed.

Industrie & Co was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Sydney with offices in Melbourne, Hong Kong and Singapore. The company has a deep heritage in cloud infrastructure engineering and offers companies a comprehensive suite of services with capabilities for strategy, design and delivery of cloud products and platforms.

With 173 employees, Industrie & Co has extensive experience in financial services in various industries, including banking, payments, asset management, retirement planning, insurance and capital markets.

The acquisition enables Accenture Cloud First to leverage its leading multi-service capabilities and offer customers an unparalleled combination of industry knowledge, cloud and infrastructure experience, and cloud ecosystem leadership.
