BLIX Consultancy opens Seoul workplace

The Dutch BLIX Consultancy (BLIX) has opened an office in Seoul, South Korea. This is the company’s second office in the Asia-Pacific region, following the opening of the Taiwanese office in 2020. The new office in will mainly support the local offshore wind market.

BLIX has made an agreement with Mike Cholmin An and Charlie Cheowoo An who will become the directors of BLIX Korea. In addition to acting as local agents, they will also assist clients in Korea by providing top-level advisory services to BLIX’s clients and partners. Last year, BLIX acquired its first South Korean project for an unknown customer and is currently offering more.


Charlie Cheowoo An said, “Korea has developed the renewable energy sector in line with the global energy transition paradigm, and the next decade is more important than ever, especially for the offshore wind sector. Korea has extensive construction experience and a strong competitive advantage in infrastructure projects with high levels of difficulty.
