Tata Consultancy Companies launches RDK options – Digital TV Europe
The IT service company Tata Consultancy Services has entered into a partnership with the standard technical service provider of the service provider RDK and launched the TCS Connected Consumer Home solution based on the RDK platform.
TCS Connected Consumer Home is described as a solution that simplifies customization, enables device management, improves service provider control via software roadmaps, and helps build a customer experience across apps, devices and channels.
The solution provides device telemetry-enabled data analytics to generate insights to improve services and, according to the company, introduces capabilities based on user behavior data within the connected home ecosystem for video, OTT, Internet gateway and IoT-connected devices .
Tata Consultancy Services recently started the TCS Engineer for the Future Media Lab to create and present solutions on the RDK platform. The laboratory is a product research and design facility that allows customers to innovate, prototype, and develop solutions.
