Mace has named Andrew Smart as head of its FM consulting business to lead the company’s global growth plans

Andrew Smart is returning to operations after 10 years.

The appointment follows the release of Mace’s strategy for 2026, which outlines ambitious plans for the next five years as a purpose-built company and sets bold goals for sustainability and diversity.

A crucial period of growth

Smart brings a wealth of experience in the FM industry previously with CBRE, Cushman and Wakefield, and Sodexo.

Smart is a respected thought leader in the FM and workplace industries and has regularly attended various industry events.

As head of FM Consultancy, Smart will expand and develop the global consulting team and service offering in line with Mace’s strategy to introduce new technologies and approaches aimed at delivering the best possible end-user experience in the most sustainable and effective manner.
