My client is looking for a low-carbon solution leader to play a key role in their sustainability and climate department in the environment and health business. My client offers a range of services in a variety of sectors including industrial, commercial and government. You are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial approach and industry leading knowledge and technical experience to develop and lead the low carbon solutions service and strategize.

The role can be based from any of my clients’ main offices – they have a very flexible approach to remote working.

Ideally you have the following

  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrable track record of the low carbon agenda
  • Experience in measuring and forecasting carbon footprints and emissions as well as in supply chain management
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of working with or advising on carbon drivers and initiatives such as SBTI and CDP
  • Ability to set goals, define, prepare and communicate commercially effective proposals and offers
  • Effective project management skills
  • Thorough understanding of key guidelines such as the GHG protocol, PAS 2080, ISO 50001, as well as UK and international emission factors and footprint tools and methods
  • Great attention to detail to ensure accurate project execution
  • Willingness and ability to continuously improve yourself and your team
  • Responsibilities / responsibilities
  • Development of strategies and targets to reduce emissions at all levels
  • Providing technical leadership for low carbon services in response to market demands
  • Establish and expand the company’s low carbon service offering
  • Develop marketing materials, offers, and suggestions
  • Attend relevant networking events and actively engage in key sectors and markets to build the company’s reputation as a recognized advisor in the sector
  • Be the point of contact between the CST team and the entire company and report regularly on product and customer developments.
  • Stay up to date with the latest market conditions and innovate and respond to customer opportunities

About this opportunity

In the first 24 to 36 months there are key deliverables – to develop the company’s range of low carbon solutions – to develop concrete opportunities for new and existing customers – who will be present at 2/3 events in the first year – to the CST – Support the management team by defining the growth strategy.
