Pringles returns to the “Big Game” in 2021 with a new flavor stack

The Pringles 2021 big game spot will roll out in early 2021 for all brand communications including on-pack, digital and in-store promotions

After three successful years in the big game Pringles announces his return as an advertiser on the biggest snack day of the year. With brands taking center stage during the popular commercial breaks, the snack brand wants to tie in with previous years and provide a place that highlights the comical consequences of getting people immersed in Pringle's Flavor Stacking combinations.

With this year's Rick and Morty partnership, Pringles has proven itself to be a fan favorite, resulting in double-digit growth for the brand. Without leaving too many details out of the can, the snack brand's 2021 commercial will further amplify the brand's unnecessary genius and endless possibilities of flavor stacking.

"We're thrilled to see Pringles be back in the big game in 2021," said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing at Pringles. "We know this year's Big Game Day experience will be different. With more fans watching from home, it will definitely be a huge TV and social media day for us to show off the fun Consumers Can Have Flavor Stacks When Building Pringles' Flavor Stacks. "

The Big Game ad also celebrates another milestone for Pringles as the brand identity goes through a “glow up”, with packaging and a logo update on the distinctive can and a new look for the mustache mascot, Mr. Julius Pringle.

The brand's new can is characterized by strong colors and a clear design. Legendary mascot Mr. Pringle has a sleeker look and a new set of emotions that highlight the inventive flavors in each can. The new can design will be featured in the Big Game spot in 2021 and will be rolled out across brand communications including on-pack, digital and in-store promotions in early 2021.

The spot: 30 was from the Gray group and is supported by a fully integrated campaign that includes PR, digital and social media.
