Tropicana helps parents find a moment of brightness by making incognito mini-fridges with mimosa to give parents the ultimate "moment" for themselves

To say this year has been unprecedented and challenging would be a massive understatement, especially for parents who do anything. While a silver lining in these troubled times has been the opportunity to spend more time with family and friends, Tropicana understands that parents need a break every now and then.

According to a recent poll by Tropicana, 87% of mothers and fathers agree that parenting has gotten so hectic this year that they sometimes just need a moment to themselves. In fact, almost half (49%) admit that they hide in the bathroom to get it! And almost all parents agree that this year, more than ever, they are looking for ways to create little moments of brightness in their days.

Tropicana helps parents find those moments – where and whenever they can – by creating incognito mini-fridges filled with mimosa essentials to give mothers and fathers the ultimate "moment" for themselves.

"This year, more than ever, people are looking for those little moments of brightness, peace and relaxation – especially for parents," says Anup Shah, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Juice Brands at PepsiCo Beverages North America.

“Tropicana has been a staple at the family breakfast table for generations and we wanted to give parents the same moment of brightness that you get from a delicious glass of orange juice, but in a way that shows we understand what they are going through. As a father of three girls, I can say for sure that I get it – we could all need a moment these days. "

Tropicana is partnering with busy parents including Gabrielle Union, Molly Sims, and Jerry O'Connell to share some of the ways they could capture a mimoment this year while still caring for their families.

"It was an interesting year to say the least as a mother of three young children (who are always there)," says model, actress and author Molly Sims. “And like most parents, while I cherish those moments with them, it's next to impossible to find time for myself so I had to get creative. My closet has become my refuge, for a brief moment of brightness catching my breath, a place where I can sometimes have my kids' snacks, or better yet, sip a mimosa. It's important to take care of yourself and your family at the same time. "

Tropicana created three types of clueless mini-fridges filled with orange juice and champagne to blend in with the home environment, including a cabinet for the bathroom, a tool cart for the basement, and a basket for the closet.

"I absolutely loved spending more time with my family this year," says actress, producer, and bestselling author Gabrielle Union. “But having a toddler as a shadow doesn't leave me much time and now more than ever I need a little moment of light for myself every day, even for a few minutes. My bathroom has actually become my place of serenity, though Mom needs a breakeven point if I'm just gathering my thoughts, doing my beauty or hair care routine, or scrolling through Instagram. "

While the mini-fridges aren't for sale right now, folks can comment on Tropicana @tropicana_juices' Instagram page where they take #brightness, and the brand may surprise you with one.

The mini-fridges coincide with Tropicana's master branding campaign, "Sip Your Sunshine," which celebrates the brightness that a single sip of delicious Tropicana can bring. It illuminates the modern, authentic, everyday events that bring moments of happiness into our lives – the same brightness that Tropicana has provided for more than 70 years and now gives a new generation.
