Hyundai and Spotify are exploring the potential of creative storytelling through streaming audio

Hyundai and Spotify have teamed up to inspire drivers and music fans with the My City Unlocked digital experience. Powered by the company's all-new Hyundai Elantra 2021, three emerging artists will create a curated virtual tour of their hometowns through audiovisual storytelling.

“Through this unique partnership, we are using music as the centerpiece of the content, to combine the feeling of enabling better local experiences with the technology-driven Elantra 2021. It's the perfect vehicle to get around the city, ”said Angela Zepeda, CMO of Hyundai Motor America.

My City Unlocked invites Spotify listeners to join these artists with a range of podcasts, videos, and narrated playlists that share personal stories and inspiration from their hometowns. Users reachable through the digital and mobile co-branding experience hyundai.withspotify.com will select an artist to access their specific playlist for city guides with scenic storytelling and artist selected local attractions.

Each artist will also share personal stories about their hometown with popular entertainment reporter Terrence J in a branded podcast "Unlock My City With …" only available on Spotify.
