This end of summer Airbnb getaway gives Deschutes County movie lovers the chance to experience a 90s-style getaway, reliving the bygone tradition of Friday night as we remember it

This summer, the world's last blockbuster store manager, Sandi Harding, who has run the company in Bend, Oregon, "like Buttah" since 2004 and has kept the spirit that was once found in places around the world, will be in business list Airbnb, a vacation rental for a very special reason.

Starting August 17 at 1:00 p.m. PST on Airbnb, Deschutes County residents will be able to throw a completely radical, yet intimate slumber party at the world's last blockbuster store by asking to book one of three individual reservations for one night takes place on September 18th, 19th and 20th. While a movie rental is $ 3.99 / £ 3.04, for just one penny more you can book one of these stays for $ 4 / £ 3.05 (plus taxes and fees) for an unlimited movie marathon.
Sandi will be your Airbnb host, filling the shelves with whatever movies your heart desires before handing over the keys. However, before dusting off those blockbuster membership cards and jumping into the minivan for that summer stay, all guests who book should adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines on wearing masks and social distancing in public spaces.
Interested guests should also be aware of the hosting rules, which follow local guidelines, including the fact that those requesting a booking must be based in Deschutes County and from the same household to minimize risk. This private overnight stay was planned for security reasons and guests can be assured that the store will be cleaned and prepared in accordance with CDC guidelines and in accordance with Airbnb's expanded cleaning protocol.
After the last guests have checked out, blockbuster customers can check out the living space for a limited time during opening hours.
