Thai Airways launches ROP campaign with Wunderman Thompson

Thai Airways International Aktiengesellschaft Limited, a winner of the World Branding Awards, worked with Wunderman Thompson Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) campaign "Thai Stay Home Miles Exchange" launched according to the government directive, which requires Thai people to stay at home to ROP members from April 24 to May 26, 2020 one mile for each offer four hours of stay.

Ms. Priyasiri Juathes, vice president of Thai Airways, Product and Guest Experience Department, said THAI and creative agency Wunderman Thompson are responding to government policies to urge Thais to stay home after the outbreak of COVID-19 Thai Stay Home Miles Exchange ROP campaign with a total of 1,000,000 miles for ROP members in Thailand. ROP members receive one mile for every four hours of stay.

The campaign aims to comply with government policies, support public health workers, and encourage ROP members to stay at home by offering ROP miles for their future redemption as the situation improves. The miles earned can be redeemed for award tickets, accommodations and others. Terms and conditions may apply. Download the Thai Stay Home Miles Exchange application and take the following steps to participate in this campaign:

Download the Thai Stay Home Miles Exchange application. Android users can participate in the campaign from April 24 to May 23, 2020. IOS users can participate in the campaign from April 27 to May 26, 2020.

Next, set your home location once the download is complete. Note that the location cannot be changed afterwards. The application starts collecting data. The user can stay in the same place or go no further than 100 meters to continuously earn miles. Users are notified and the application stops earning miles when they leave their hometown.

Finally, ROP members who joined the campaign should be on the last day of the campaign (May 23, 2020 for Android users and May 26, 2020 for IOS users) or when the 500,000 miles made available to each user group are used up, fill out their information and the system will update the ROP miles to their personal accounts within July 10, 2020.
