Ralph Lauren unveils the Group USA Closing Ceremony Parade Uniform

Ralph Lauren Team USA Closing Ceremony Parade unveiled uniforms and apparel collections for the 2020 US Olympic and Paralympic teams. For these games, Ralph Lauren worked to use more sustainable materials and manufacturing processes across the Team USA collection.
The company has developed and invested in groundbreaking innovations in sustainable materials and manufacturing technologies that will be debuted in this collection and will have a global, industry-changing impact.

As part of the recently announced Color on Demand platform, Ralph Lauren worked with Dow to optimize the use of ECOFAST Pure Sustainable Textile Treatment, an advanced pre-treatment solution for more sustainable dyeing of cotton that significantly reduces water, chemical and energy consumption compared to conventional dyeing process and is used in cotton products in the Team USA apparel collection.
MIRUM is a revolutionary alternative leather material made from renewable raw materials, which includes vegetable materials and agricultural by-products. It is a solution that is free from synthetic plastics. The MIRUM Olympic Patch was developed in partnership with Natural Fiber Welding, Inc, a leader in sustainable materials science that Ralph Lauren recently invested in and that revolutionized the use and reuse of vegetable fibers and materials into patented, high-performance materials.
Team USA’s Closing Ceremony Uniform is a fresh and sporty all-American look and includes a graphic white drawstring jacket and a striped belt made from recycled reprove polyester from plastic water bottles. a classic white polo shirt, shoes, and mask made from verified US cotton; and slim white jeans with a MIRUM back patch. Every item in the uniform is proudly made in the United States.
The Ralph Lauren 2020 Team USA collection includes bold graphics, stripes and color blocking in a spirited palette of red, white and blue. A selection from the collection will be available to purchase from April 14th on RalphLauren.com. and in June in select Ralph Lauren retail stores, select US department stores, and online at TeamUSAShop.com.
