MKTG. Dentsu Aegis NetworkVictoria Azarian has been named the new chief creative officer for the United States by the world's leading lifestyle marketing agency. As brands increasingly focus on experiences that appeal to consumers and tell the story and value of their brands, Azarian will take responsibility for the creative output of all integrated, business-oriented marketing solutions from MKTG.

In particular, MKTG works with leading brands such as Diageo, FedEx, Nike, P & G and Toyota through sports and entertainment sponsoring, live events, retail marketing and corporate / B2B engagement.

Azarian has had a successful career with Ogilvy New York For the past 15 years, he has been an Executive Creative Director and a member of the Executive Leadership Team and the Worldwide Creative Council. Her passion is to connect brands with cultural moments that impact society and the bottom line of the customer.

She has worked on many well-known blue chip brands, including: IBM, IKEA, Kimberly-Clark, Poland Spring, Nationwide, Philips, LPGA, Citizens Bank and Unilever.

Under the creative direction of Azarian, Kimberly Clark became Effie's marketer of the year in 2013. She also contributed to the IBM Effie 5 for 50 Award 2019, which recognizes effectiveness, relevance and ongoing business success compared to the previous year.

Her work for IBM can also be seen in the Henry Ford Museum of Innovation in the form of The Thinking Dress. This collaboration with IBM Watson + Marchesa made its debut on the red carpet of the Met Gala in 2016.

Her work has also been recognized by the Smithsonian Design Museum for Design Excellence for a smarter planet. As a result of her work, Azarian was named one of the “New Icons in Creativity” Adweek in 2019.

Azarian also regularly combines her expertise with the passion to give something back. She received the Advocate Award from MAKERS, a women's leadership platform that highlights the stories of today's groundbreaking women to inspire tomorrow's leaders. She is also a guest lecturer at New York University, where she educates students about the impact of brands on society and helps them find a voice in the industry.

Azarian lives in Brooklyn with her daughter Elle, who is already making changes as a young activist.
