McCann New York President Devika Bulchandani has been named Agency Manager of the Year
McCann world group was named Network of the Year at the opening event of the US Agency of the Year Awards US Campaign, The publicity also recognized McCann New York President Devika Bulchandani, recently appointed McCann North America President, as agency director of the year. McCann New York's co-chief creative officers, Sean Bryan and Tom Murphy, were named Creative of the Year. The award was presented by a jury made up of customers from across the industry.
"This recognition would not have been possible without the constant support of our customers in our creative partnerships," said Harris Diamond, chairman and CEO of the network. "I am proud that Devika has been named Agency Manager of the Year because her intrepid leadership and commitment to the success of McCann New York and now McCann North America have made the agency the success it is today."
Devika Bulchandani has led McCann New York through a period of significant growth and increasing industry recognition. Bulchandani joined McCann in 1997 as a strategist, became managing director, and was named president of McCann New York in 2017. In December 2019, she was named President of the North America Network.
Sean Bryan and Tom Murphy who shared the role of CCO for McCann New York were also honored. The couple joined the agency as a creative team in 2004 and rose to the top of the agency's creative leadership. They were appointed Co-CCOs in 2012. Since then, they have made the office one of the most successful agencies in the world. The agency's work is one of the most famous creative works of the past decade.

The Network of the Year follows an unprecedented year of recognition for creativity and effectiveness. The agency was named Network of the Year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2019.
Adweek recently voted the network the global agency of the year. At the Epica Awards 2019, the creative award of journalists from the marketing and communications industry, the company was named the most creative agency network in the global Effie Effectiveness Index 2019 and Network of the Year.
