Everyone’s favorite blue animated amphibian, Crazy Frog, will be riding their imaginary motorcycle back to our screens on December 10th via YouTube
It’s been 16 years since he first spun to the top of the UK charts for four weeks. The original single didn’t stop there, took the world by storm and hit the charts worldwide.

Fast forward to 2009, when Crazy Frog’s rendition of Axel f – the subject of Beverly Hills cop Coldplay famously hit number one in the UK. The video now has over 3.1 billion views and is the 19th most popular video in YouTube history.
The long-awaited comeback track contains excerpts from hits made famous by TikTok trends. Wolfgang Boss, President of A&R at Sony Music, made the decision to release new music after the interest on YouTube increased. Boss hopes the new track and video will find a new breed of Crazy Frog fans at a time when the “ringtone is dead” and where better to start than the platform used to create viral music .
Boss said in a recent interview, “When we started Crazy Frog there was no TikTok, it didn’t exist, but right now TikTok is super important. It’s basically the number one platform for people to share new music and fun music-related things. “
Boss will honor the tradition and create the comeback with the producer-original-DJ-producer Reinhard “Voodoo” Raith.
