Law At Work expands its business through three acquisitions of the parent company Marlowe.

Youmanage, a Dundee-based HR software company, has closed deals worth a total of £ 5.15 million. Employee Relations Law Firm and Technology Company ESPHR; and HR Services Partnership, a third sector specialist, will join Marlowe’s labor law and human resources department.

The law firms are led by Law At Work and Ellis Whittam, who provide Marlowe’s comprehensive employment law and human resources services across the UK. The transaction is an important step for the group.

Magnus Swanson, Chairman of Law At Work, said, “Since we have been part of Marlowe, we have made it our goal to acquire more companies to complement our own to strengthen the services we offer our customers.”

Youmanage supports approximately 200 customers and was acquired for £ 1.25m which includes an upfront payment of £ 750,000 and a deferred item of £ 500,000.

ESPHR, based in Woking, supports around 170 customers, including Greene King, Randstad and Entain.

HRSP, based in Horsham, specializes in providing bespoke HR support to charities and nonprofits. The 21-person team of personnel consultants offers around 200 customers project-based and continuous support every year.
