A local Whitland company was named one of the UK’s best rural companies after winning a regional rural business award.

Landsker Business Solutions Ltd. was recognized as the best rural professional service at the regional finals of the Rural Business Awards in collaboration with Amazon, which took place virtually this year.

After the impressive success at the regional final, Landsker Business Solutions Ltd. now represented Wales and Northern Ireland at the national finals of the Rural Business Awards in February 2022.

The 2021/2022 Rural Business Awards are being presented for the seventh time in partnership with Amazon to celebrate the success of businesses in the UK’s rural economy. The awards are organized by rural companies for rural companies with the aim of recognizing the achievements of rural companies and developing a strong network for rural entrepreneurs.

The Rural Business Awards are the brainchild of businesswomen Anna Price and Jemma Clifford from Leicestershire who wanted to showcase the wealth of entrepreneurial talent in rural areas of Great Britain.

The Rural Business Awards will host a series of regional finals in the North, East, Midlands, Southwest, Wales and Northern Ireland in October 2021, before the national final next February.
