Juniper Park TBWA strengthens its leadership team by hiring an award-winning strategist

Juniper Park TBWA, The Disruption Company, recently announced the hiring of internationally recognized strategist Dustin Rideout as the new chief strategy officer. Rideout will lead the strategy across the agency's client list in North America and report directly to CEO Jill Nykoliation.

Rideout brings more than 15 years of experience from both the agency and the customer to Juniper Park TBWA.

He will lead Juniper Park TBWA's steadily growing strategy and planning department, which currently consists of a 13-person multidisciplinary team of brand and communication planners, data scientists, analysts, digital strategists and communication managers. He will also join the agency's established leadership team, consisting of CEO Jill Nykoliation, CCO Graham Lang, President David Toto and CFO Laura White.

Rideout joined Juniper Park TBWA after three years at McCann WorldGroup Canada, where he was McCann Canada's chief strategy officer in Toronto. Previously, he was Head of Brand and Fan Experience at MLSE, where he led all of the brand, business intelligence, digital product, and fan experience teams. Previously, he was SVP for Strategy and Partner at Sid Lee and Director for Digital Strategy at Leo Burnett Toronto.

In his previous roles, Dustin led the strategy for the famous We The North campaign for the Toronto Raptors, which helped reposition the franchise, and for various other internationally acclaimed campaigns for The North Face, Stella Artois, Samsung and Ikea.

His work on these campaigns has resulted in international awards at Cannes Lions, The One Show and The Clio Awards and recognition in all major effectiveness competitions in North America.

By joining Juniper Park TBWA, Rideout will join the TBWA global collective of over 200 spotters who identify cultural triggers, edges and stories that will then be used to create timely cultural interests, all through a video editing arm at TBWA – Employees worldwide are sent backslash.
