jeep Brand and the LEGO Group unveiled the latest LEGO Technic model, the one-of-a-kind Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Created to emulate the iconic looks, design, and legendary off-road capabilities of the actual vehicle, this first LEGO model of a Jeep SUV – the LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler – is ready for any epic adventure.

The new model of this high-performance SUV offers LEGO fans of all ages an exciting building experience as they recreate the high-performance 4 × 4 systems, sturdy tires, folding rear seats and the classic seven-slot grille in LEGO Technic form.

Once construction is complete, builders can experience endless off-road adventures with the 665-piece model with numerous features. Thanks to a button-operated front steering system and powerful axle joint suspension, you will love testing your model on obstacles anywhere. The eye-catching yellow-black color scheme captivates with action or display.

The LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler was developed for both brand fans aged 9 and over. It will be available at LEGO.com, LEGO stores and other retailers worldwide on January 1st, 2021 and will be priced at $ 49.99 / £ 44.99.

"The Jeep Wrangler is an icon in the off-road world," said Lars Thygesen, LEGO Technic designer. “The Rubicon has many of the iconic details that 4 × 4 fans around the world love. It was therefore important to me to pack as many of the authentic and powerful functions of the real vehicle as possible into the LEGO Technic replica. I hope LEGO fans and vehicle lovers alike enjoy all aspects including the chassis, winch and open-air design that we developed together with the talented Jeep design team. "

"With an 80 year legacy spanning the world, our owners, fans and followers literally grew up with us," said Christian Meunier, global president of the Jeep brand. "Our partnership with the LEGO Group offers our enthusiasts another great opportunity to share their passion for the Jeep Wrangler, a global automotive icon that represents fun, freedom and unbridled adventure."

"Ask any Jeep Wrangler owner and they'll tell you their vehicle is just a larger version of this new LEGO set," said Mark Allen, Head of Jeep Design. “The design of the Wrangler allows them to take it apart, fill it up, remove doors, reconfigure it, add new pieces from our Mopar team and then put it back together. This Jeep Wrangler with LEGO technology is intended to bring a new level of joy to our brand's enthusiasts and to help inspire future designers for the brand. "
